Alayna’s Senior Session at Zion – A Golden Evening to Remember

On Sunday, September 15, 2024, we had the pleasure of capturing Alayna’s senior session beautiful Zion. It was a golden evening, with the perfect mix of warm sunlight and the serenity of nature—a magical setting for such a special moment. 🌅

Alayna, a 2025 senior, absolutely shined during her session. We started in a field where the golden glow of the sunset highlighted her natural beauty. The nearby windmill added a rustic, timeless backdrop.

We then headed to the lake dock, where we took more breathtaking shots. The peaceful lake and the warm reflection of the setting sun created a stunning backdrop. We even captured some fun moments of her in a rowboat on the water and some brave shots of her in the water, embracing the adventurous spirit of the day. 💧🚤

One of the unique aspects of this session was the blend of traditional photography and drone photography. While Callie worked with Alayna on the ground, capturing those up-close, personal moments, John piloted the drone. The drone gave us a whole new perspective, allowing us to shoot from above and even capture some behind-the-scenes video footage! It was an awesome way to add variety and excitement to the session, giving Alayna memories she’ll treasure for a lifetime. ✨📸

This session was particularly special for Callie, as she had the privilege of photographing Alayna’s older sister, Alexis, for her senior session just a few years ago. It’s always such an honor to be a part of these important milestones for a family, and Alayna’s mom, Sonya, was there to witness it all, just like she was for Alexis. It was heartwarming to see the bond between mother and daughter as Sonya proudly watched her youngest step into this exciting chapter of her life.

We had such a blast working with Alayna and creating these memories for her! From the field to the dock, the rowboat, and the water, each location told a different story. We hope these images not only capture the beauty of this moment but also serve as a reminder of all the adventures that lie ahead. 🌟
