Deer Recovery

What is drone assisted deer recovery?

Drone-assisted deer recovery utilizes advanced thermal imaging and high-resolution cameras to efficiently locate harvested deer. This cutting-edge technology allows drones to scan large areas, identifying deer with precision by detecting heat signatures. By streamlining the search process, drone recovery significantly increases success rates while minimizing the environmental impact  and pressure on the wildlife that often comes with prolonged ground searches. Whether you’re a hunter or a wildlife manager, this innovative approach provides an eco-friendly and highly effective solution for deer recovery.

Can you fly in inclement weather?

Our state of the art drone can fly in most adverse weather conditions. We can fly in high winds, low temperatures, rain and snow.

How long after death can a deer be recovered?

Many factors play a part in how long a heat signature will last, including environmental conditions. Usually, a downed deer can be detected up to 48 hours after death and at times several days later.

What if the deer is found and not dead?

If the deer is not deceased when we find it, you can resume the hunt the following day under state hunting regulations. You can not under any circumstances go search for the deer with a weapon while we are there.
